Damiana mingled with the artist himself and his creative partner Lizzie Fitch, their fabulous and alluring ensemble cast, fashion designer Jeremy Scott, singer Sam Sparro, performance artists Zackary Drucker and Wu Ingrid Tsang, gallery curator Elizabeth Dee (an early champion of Ryan's work), MOCA's Samuel Vasquez and Elizabeth Greenway, and many more. The next day Damiana was invited to DIS Magazine's pool party/luncheon honoring Ryan, held at a lavish 1920's Spanish-style mansion in sunny Los Feliz, where cocktails flowed freely, the mood was sexy and the predominant look was Summer Goth.
